Our history
We have been building a reliable business since 1995.
MGJ is a family company that has been continuously operating in the market since 1995. In Poland, as a sawmill, we are a leader in the production of unedged dry hardwood timber in thicknesses of 26-70 mm in the following species: beech, oak, ash, birch, maple and alder. We also offer dry white and steamed beech timber for our customers.
MGJ approaches the production of timber with the utmost care, starting with the acquisition of the raw material, through sawing to the drying process. Our pride is our modern machinery park, which includes 4 frame saws and 24 drying chambers, allowing us to saw about 50,000 M3. The high quality of timber combined with comprehensive customer service has resulted in recognition in the business community.

Competitive quality
The reliable quality of our products is guaranteed primarily by the raw material, innovative production process and awarded quality certificates. With our customers in mind, we source the raw material for hardwood timber from the best regions of Poland. Thanks to the continuous improvement of the production process, we have been able to achieve a high sawn hardwood output, which in turn makes us able to offer a wide range of timber thicknesses compared to our competitors. What sets us apart from other manufacturing companies in the timber market is a clear and transparent system for receiving timber with detailed specifications attached to the invoice. An unprecedented technological procedure, which guarantees the maintenance of good quality timber, is the wrapping of parcels in foil. The high quality of our lumber is also confirmed by certificates such as FSC and ISPM.
Organization of the production process
The efficient organization of the production process guarantees the production of dry timber in various grades and thicknesses, and the drying process itself is monitored 24 hours a day. The technical and organizational conditions of thermal processing of wood ensure the appropriate quality and humidity content of 8-10%. In order to ensure the high quality of the timber and maintain the appropriate level of humidity, each package is protected by a thick foil. In addition, with the satisfaction of our customers in mind, we import raw material from the best regions in Poland. What particularly distinguishes us from the competition is a clear and legible system of receiving timber. We attach a specification to each package, which includes information on the thickness of all boards. Such information streamlines the production process for each of our customers, regardless of industry.

Safe door-to-door transportation
As a lumber company, we are a pioneer in the industry on the subject of delivery to the customer. We transport the timber protected so that the weather conditions do not affect its appearance and properties. We protect each package with a thick foil, so that the appropriate level of humidity of the raw material is maintained.
Comprehensive service
We offer a comprehensive and friendly service by professionals with years of experience and knowledge. Through direct contact with the client, we are able to advise and assist at every stage of the transaction. With transparent rules of cooperation, we ensure positive relations and reliable exchange of information with customers. We are flexible, and we process orders as small as three packages. We guarantee comfort of service through prompt response and execution of the order, as well as arranging transportation to the customer.
Quality certificates
Confirmation of the high quality of our lumber comes from our certifications (FSC and ISPM 15) and the organization and management of our production process. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certificate is a guarantee to the customer that our timber comes only from FSC-certified forests. On the other hand, having an ISPM 15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures) phytosanitary certificate is particularly important for international trade.

Supporting the young
MGJ is committed to educating and supporting the next generation. Together with SGGW, we have published a “Timber Sorting Guide,” which young future entrepreneurs are now using and learning from. We are also opening up opportunities for students who associate their future with wood to gain knowledge and skills. With us, SGGW students can complete an internship, thereby passing one of the school requirements.
FSC Certificate
FSC®, i.e. Forest Stewardship Council®, is an organization responsible for the certification of forests and all types of wood and paper products. Following FSC® guidelines allows you to obtain wood without disturbing the biological resources and structure of forests.
PEFC Certificate
PEFC – The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification is an international, non-governmental, non-profit organization that supports sustainable forest management, monitored through independent third-party certification.
ISPM 15 Certificate
ISPM 15 affects all wood packaging material (pallets, crates, dunnages, etc.) and requires that they be debarked and then heat treated or fumigated with methyl bromide, and stamped or branded with a mark of compliance. This mark of compliance is colloquially known as the “wheat stamp”.
